About | Meet Mitja Sirk, a young enthusiast who wholeheartedly devoted himself to his love for wine and winemaking. His journey began with learning from his father, studying, travelling, and tasting, diving into the intricate world of wine. As a Sommelier at Michelin-starred restaurant Trattoria al Cacciatore at La Subida, Mitja shares his discoveries with guests, enhancing their dining experiences.

The Sirk family's Trattoria al Cacciatore interprets the gastronomic tradition of the fascinating Friulian borderlands and a refined ‘wild cuisine’ that has made it known worldwide.

Beyond the dining room, Mitja tends to vineyards, harvesting grapes in pursuit of crafting wines that meet his high standards. Wine is Mitja's life, and he lives it to the fullest.
