About | Before embarking on his own adventure with partner Henry Pattiwael van Westerloo, Egon van Hoof earned his stripes at Ron Blaauw in Ouderkerk on the Amstel and later as head chef at Two Michelin Star Restaurant ‘Aan de Poel’ in Amstelveen. Van Hoof loves strong umami flavours and finds inspiration in Japan and Spain. A frequent traveller, he considers Antwerp one of his favourite culinary cities.

Achievements | Since 2015, Egon has been patron cuisinier of MOS Amsterdam, a gastronomic hotspot that is unique in its setting, experience, location and interior. Within a year and a half, MOS Amsterdam was awarded with a Michelin Star.
