About | Philipp Pfisterer comes from Schwäbisch Gmünd, a medieval town in Swabia. He began studying political science and rhetoric at the University of Tübingen, but after a year he devoted himself to his passion for cooking and became chef at the one-star Michelin Restaurant at the Wald & Schloßhotel Friedrichsruhe from 1999-2002, followed by a year at the three-star Michelin Restaurant at the Waldhotel Sonnora.
Since 2004 he has worked at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof, first in the former Garden Restaurant, since 2009 as Second de Cuisine in the new restaurants Atelier & Garden and since 2015 as Chef de Cuisine in the restaurant Garden.
