Where to eat
EGGS & THINGS
The pancakes are really delicious. It was quite a search to find a nice breakfast place In Tokyo, but if you don’t feel like eating Japanese in the morning, go here.
KONAYA
For the best Okonomiyaki, small savory pancakes
MARU
My favorite restaurant by far in Tokyo is Maru, a modern kaiseki restaurant. Only a few minutes from Ginza station. The modern kind of Kaiseki, the Japanese cuisine.
MIKASA KAIKAN
Eating from the teppanyaki grill and drinking champagne.
What to do
DAIMARU CENTER
An amazing spot for beauty buys. The food department in the basement is also worth a visit. Order fried crab legs with lots of sesame mayo.
ASAKUSA
The most fun shopping experience. There’s not just a great selection of both modern retail and traditional craft stores, but also the opportunity to do some sightseeing along the way, with century old temples and beautiful restaurants by the waterside.
YANAKA
It’s worth visiting the authentic neighborhood of Yanaka. Great lunch here at CIBI, Japanese and Western food.
